To improve the quality of stay in public spaces and the microclimate, the mobile urban gardens were developed for the city of Osnabrück. The modular system consists of various seating options and plantable modules, that can be configurated as needed. This creates resting areas and meeting places for the neighbourhood, that are tailored to the location. The urban gardens are used on parking lots for a fixed period of time, before they are permanently unsealed and the modules are relocated. Thanks to their clear and timeless design, they fit perfectly into the cityscape of Osnabrück.

Identity-establishing elements for the cycle superhighways of the metropolitan region of Hamburg

The Metropolregion Hamburg in planning a network of cycle superhighways, that will enable users to reach their destinations comfortably, safely, quickly and without disruption over the shortest possible routes. The cycling infrastructure was already part of the planning process at an early stage. Identity-establishing elements such as steles, shelters, bike service stations and handhold elements will increase comfort and recognition factor, enhance acceptance and contribute to easy orientation. A memorable bevel shapes the appearance of all the elements and gives the cycle superhighways their own DNA.

Combined heat and power system H2PS-5

The combined heat and power system H2PS-5 enables the local production of power and heat from biogas, natural gas or liquid gas through an intermediate production of hydrogen. Corporate design and styleguide for the mobility stations of Wolfsburg

In order to support the visibility, the attractiveness, the quality of stay and the recognition value of the planned mobility stations of Wolfsburg in the street and cityscape, a corporate design was developed for the mobility stations. The stations receive their own logo, consisting of a picture and a wordmark. To make it clear that the separate infrastructure elements belong to the station, the picture mark and/or a graphical structure developed from the picture mark is applied to the individual components. The specially developed stele is an important part of each station, points out the station, increases the recognition value and provides information. A detailed styleguide describes the use of the individual elements and defines, among other things, colors, floor conditions, floor markings and the use of light.

Mobility Stations Düsseldorf

The CMD Düsseldorf is working to promote the transport turnaround in Düsseldorf. Over the next few years, 100 mobility stations are to be built in Düsseldorf. We have designed the modules, developed a modular module catalog and are providing support in the planning of the stations and the development of new innovative mobility offers. Green roofs, solar panels and climate-friendly building materials make the stations particularly environmentally friendly. Topics such as the quality of stay, accessibility and redesign in terms of traffic safety also have a high priority.

Equipment elements for picnic sites in the Münsterland

To strengthen tourism and the identity of the castle and palace region of Münsterland and to contribute to successful regional development, picnic sites for citizens and visitors are being set up in the Münsterland. With barrier-free equipment elements from a modular system, every picnic site can be equipped according to its nature and special requirements. Inviting places are created that make the picnic an experience for everybody. The chosen design language with its distinctive slanted profiles, reflects the core values of the Münsterland: energetic, ambitious and judicious. The closeness to nature is expressed in the choice of warm wood.

Mobility pillar Baden-Würtemberg

In order to increase the visibility of sustainable mobility offers and, in particular, to promote walking and cycling, a mobility pillar was developed for Baden-Württemberg, that is clearly visible but does not disturb the cityscape. It offers the same information as an existing, larger pillar. A site plan and directions on a floor plate facilitate a quick orientation. Further information is provided via pictograms, text, images and QR codes. Depending on the location, a bicycle repairing kit is integrated. The lightning is powered by a solar module. In addition to design and functional aspects, special attention was paid to accessibility.

Berlin TXL – Style guide for urban furnishing and infrastructure facilities

Following the closure of Berlin-Tegel Airport, a research and industrial park for urban technologies is being built on part of the premises – the URBAN TECH REPUBLIC. As part of the planning team, we developed a style guide for technical and non-technical furnishing and infrastructure facilities in public spaces. We designed a structure that will be used on various elements in the public space and defined guidelines for the use of materials, colors and shapes. The specific characteristics of the new research an industrial park are reflected in the furnishing and the infrastructure elements. A visual cohesion of the premises and a high quality of stay in the public space will be created.

Energy center Hanau

Heart of the energy center in the newly created Pioneer Park in Hanau are three powerful cogeneration units. Combined with two peak load boilers they are generating electricity and heat while burning certified CO2 neutral natural gas. The innovation and sustainability of the energy generation are reflected in a delicate and vivid wooden lamellar structure. The chosen design of the facade establishes a connection to the mobility offers in the neighborhood, that are energized by the generated energy. A big LED screen serves as an interaction area to the residents of the neighborhood.

Metal 3D printer INFINITY

The metal 3D printer INFINITY makes a component size of up to 50x50x50 cm possible. Separate trolleys are either way driven into the machine as powder tank or build area. The machine is monitored and controlled through the five monitors that are integrated into the sliding door. The User interface, that has especially been developed for the machine, enables the user to monitor the clearly arranged figures, to closely follow each step and to manipulate various parameters at any time. The facility fits perfectly into the environment under a bridge and increases the value of the location significantly. The materials look modern. Mobility Stations Kiel

The concept of mobility for the city of Kiel and the region was developed by us during a period of 2 years and has been accompanied by us through all service phases. The modular system is barrier-free accessible and allows to configurate appropriate stations at each location and to meet their specific needs in fittings and size. The first mobility station in the Kiel region, in the small town of Hamdorf, shows that a multimodal link of different mobility products is useful and necessary, even in rural areas. The timeless and functional design enables a good integration into the urban and spatial context.

Mobile mobility Hubs Frankfurt

The mobile mobility hubs have been designed specifically for the growing network of fast cycle routes. They enable the user to repair his bike, change tyres, get information about the bicycle routes and have a rest. A Station is composed of the main module with repair unit and integrated bench, a tyre vending machine, optional bicycle holders, bicycle parking boxes and waste containers. The mobile modules can at any time be taken to another location. Their stability is ensured by a weighted base.

Controller CONiQ

The CONiQ controller is a control unit for industrial weighing technology from Schenck Process. It is suited for completely different environments and tasks. Entrance control system

This entrance control system is used in the doorway area of public transportation. Despite its small dimensions, it offers an easy to read display that is inclined toward the user, as well as a combined barcode and NFC reader on the upper side of the machine. Tollgate terminal

With a concise and fresh design the company krauth has won the tender for the next generation of HGV toll collection. Together we have newly developed a duo of an outdoor terminal and an indoor terminal. A large ergonomically tilted touchscreen is used in both terminals and allows the user a clear and quick handling. The illuminated top of the outdoor terminal is an additional highlight. The two terminals are complemented by a point-of-sale terminal.

Mobile ticketing machine

This ticket machine has been developed especially for the Polish market and is slimmer than usual. The longish operating display and the output tray are slightly elevated. That way, the slimness is beeing underlined and the front is being structured. The further elements are tidily located next to it.The use of plastic for the front and the upper side of the device allow the harmonious integration of the consumer interfaces, such as the embedded field to hold the customer card.

Competition Mobility Stations Osnabrück

We won the 1st prize in the competition for the design of modular components for Mobility Stations organised by the City of Osnabrück and Stadtwerke Osnabrück. The jury unanimously decided for our design solution. The elements are cubistically constructed and enable various services including a kiosk. Each of the areas, e.g. charging or bicycle station, has been assigned different colours for a better recognition by the user.
“The Stocker Design differentiated significantly from the other designs submitted”, said the jury while announcing the winner. The design was not only practicable but also represented an optical landmark. The other designs could not combine both requirements as successful as the winner did.

Pay desk

Despite latest digital possibilities, manual pay desks are still used in public transportation to assort coins quickly and uncomplicatedly. We have integrated the mechanical coin unit into a compact and modern plastic housing. The coin return has also gotten a new placement, facing the customer. The housing with its rounded corners fits discreetly into its environment close to the driver and harmonises very well with the Board computer that has also been developed by us.
