Corporate design and styleguide for the mobility stations of Wolfsburg

In order to support the visibility, the attractiveness, the quality of stay and the recognition value of the planned mobility stations of Wolfsburg in the street and cityscape, a corporate design was developed for the mobility stations. The stations receive their own logo, consisting of a picture and a wordmark. To make it clear that the separate infrastructure elements belong to the station, the picture mark and/or a graphical structure developed from the picture mark is applied to the individual components. The specially developed stele is an important part of each station, points out the station, increases the recognition value and provides information. A detailed styleguide describes the use of the individual elements and defines, among other things, colors, floor conditions, floor markings and the use of light.

Mobility pillar Baden-Würtemberg

In order to increase the visibility of sustainable mobility offers and, in particular, to promote walking and cycling, a mobility pillar was developed for Baden-Württemberg, that is clearly visible but does not disturb the cityscape. It offers the same information as an existing, larger pillar. A site plan and directions on a floor plate facilitate a quick orientation. Further information is provided via pictograms, text, images and QR codes. Depending on the location, a bicycle repairing kit is integrated. The lightning is powered by a solar module. In addition to design and functional aspects, special attention was paid to accessibility.

Competition Mobility Stations Osnabrück

We won the 1st prize in the competition for the design of modular components for Mobility Stations organised by the City of Osnabrück and Stadtwerke Osnabrück. The jury unanimously decided for our design solution. The elements are cubistically constructed and enable various services including a kiosk. Each of the areas, e.g. charging or bicycle station, has been assigned different colours for a better recognition by the user.
“The Stocker Design differentiated significantly from the other designs submitted”, said the jury while announcing the winner. The design was not only practicable but also represented an optical landmark. The other designs could not combine both requirements as successful as the winner did.
