Via the Laser Framework various machines in the field of laser technology can be operated and the necessary settings can be made. A consistent grid and design as well as intuitive user guidance have been developed, which are the same for all applications. That way, the user can quickly find his way around and new applications can be implemented to the software at any time.
Following the closure of Berlin-Tegel Airport, a research and industrial park for urban technologies is being built on part of the premises – the URBAN TECH REPUBLIC. As part of the planning team, we developed a style guide for technical and non-technical furnishing and infrastructure facilities in public spaces. We designed a structure that will be used on various elements in the public space and defined guidelines for the use of materials, colors and shapes. The specific characteristics of the new research an industrial park are reflected in the furnishing and the infrastructure elements. A visual cohesion of the premises and a high quality of stay in the public space will be created.
The KINEO VARIO electric kettle and the KINEO toaster both combine a bold and modern esthetic with highest precision and well-thought-out functionality. The KINEO family is characterized by prominent oblique lines that are jointly forming a harmonious overall appearance. Both appliances are made of of Cromargan and can be operated via a touch field. A real-time display shows the current temperature (kettle) or the time remaining (toaster).
Heart of the energy center in the newly created Pioneer Park in Hanau are three powerful cogeneration units. Combined with two peak load boilers they are generating electricity and heat while burning certified CO2 neutral natural gas. The innovation and sustainability of the energy generation are reflected in a delicate and vivid wooden lamellar structure. The chosen design of the facade establishes a connection to the mobility offers in the neighborhood, that are energized by the generated energy. A big LED screen serves as an interaction area to the residents of the neighborhood.
On the former premises of the US-Army in Hanau housing for more than 2500 people is being built. The urban planning of the Pioneer Park includes an intelligent mobility concept. From the beginning on, we have been involved in its development. The striking design feature of each station is the electrical distribution box, which expressively points out the new mobility offers. According to their size the stations are completed with various furnishing.
The mobility stations, that have been developed for the city of Osnabrück, can be put together in a modular principle from various elements: From a stele, through to partition walls, shelters, buildings or large bicycle parking facilities. The modules have been designed as striking, cubic, reduced structures. They are functional and represent a clear landmark. Different colors are assigned to the separate offers such as charging stations, bike rentals or parking facilities, what makes recognition easy for users.
The bike station at the train station of Achim provides room for 152 bikes and rental bikes. The facility fits perfectly into the environment under a bridge and increases the value of the location significantly. The materials look modern. Due to its transparency, the station invites to be used and offers, at the same time, secure bike parking. The design language can be applied to future projects in the region and establishes hereby a distinctive corporate design for the bike&ride offers.
This Mobility Hub was developed to meet the increasing demand for sustainable mobility in residential construction. The compact architecture convinces with simple and clever details and an intriguing use of transparent and semitransparent materials. The building structure is based on a modular design and can be adapted to the respective type of use and the local circumstances.
