The metal 3D printer INFINITY makes a component size of up to 50x50x50 cm possible. Separate trolleys are either way driven into the machine as powder tank or build area. The machine is monitored and controlled through the five monitors that are integrated into the sliding door. The User interface, that has especially been developed for the machine, enables the user to monitor the clearly arranged figures, to closely follow each step and to manipulate various parameters at any time. The innovation of the machine is reflected in the modern design of the machine and the interface.
The concept of mobility for the city of Kiel and the region was developed by us during a period of 2 years and has been accompanied by us through all service phases. The modular system is barrier-free accessible and allows to configurate appropriate stations at each location and to meet their specific needs in fittings and size. The first mobility station in the Kiel region, in the small town of Hamdorf, shows that a multimodal link of different mobility products is useful and necessary, even in rural areas. The timeless and functional design enables a good integration into the urban and spatial context.
The mobile mobility hubs have been designed specifically for the growing network of fast cycle routes. They enable the user to repair his bike, change tyres, get information about the bicycle routes and have a rest. A Station is composed of the main module with repair unit and integrated bench, a tyre vending machine, optional bicycle holders, bicycle parking boxes and waste containers. The mobile modules can at any time be taken to another location. Their stability is ensured by a weighted base.
The CONiQ controller is a control unit for industrial weighing technology from Schenck Process. It is suited for completely different environments and tasks. For example, users can use it to control a truck scale on a junkyard, a crane scale on a construction site or a loss-in-weight feeder in a production process. The CONiQ controller can be used as needed, hanging on the wall or standing. The restrained and modern design puts the user interface into the focus, which was developed consistent with the device.
The interface for the CONiQ controller is characterized by a customer-centered user interface, that works for the various possible applications. The color scheme supports intuitive use and makes it easy for the user to recognize buttons and selection fields at first glance. The dashboard can be configured for both experienced and inexperienced users.CONiQ was developed in an iterative human centered design process together with Custom Interaction and was honored with the Red Dot Design Award 2019 for interface design.
For the use of the 3D metal printer CREATOR in the dental sector we have developed the Dental Cockpit software EASY PRINT. The special interface enables the user to upload and print components particularly quickly and intuitively. The user is guided through the process and can start the printing process with just a few clicks.
