We have won three iF Designawards 2023 and are very proud of our new iF ranking (TOP 50 Designstudios / TOP 10 Public Design). ICONIC AWARDS 2022: After winning the iF Gold Award 2021, we are awarded another major prize for the design of the mobility stations in Osnabrück. The stations, which are spread across the entire city in different configurations, are a successful contribution to the traffic turnaround and a clear statement in the public space.

After winning the German Design Award 2022, the hygienic entrance gate SafeGate has now also been awarded the prestigious iF Design Award 2022. SafeGate enables fully automatic access control, which can be adapted to the current local needs and which ensures an optimal prevention.

After having won the iF Gold Award in 2020 and 2021, André Stocker was appointed to the jury of the iF Award 2022. 132 jurors from 22 countries evaluate more than 10,000 submissions in a preselection and a final selection in order to award the best products with the conveted iF label.

The time has come, this year’s German Design Awards have been assigned. This time, four of our projects are honored with awards: The winners designed by us are the hygienic entrance gate SafeGate, a mobile ticket vending machine for krauth technology and the mobility stations for Hanau and Kiel / the region of Kiel. Together with our clients we are delighted to receive this distinctions.

And it goes on: Matching the electric kettle and the various other products of the WMF KINEO line there is now a toaster, which has been designed by us. Once more a succeeded extension of the product family.

At the train station of Achim, the inauguration of the new bike station, which has been designed by us, is celebrated. The facility fits perfectly into the environment under a bridge and increases the value of the location significantly. It provides room for 152 bikes and rental bikes.

WMF is extending the KINEO product family with an insulation jug, a water decanter, a serving tray, a milk can, a sugar bowl and mugs, all designed by us. The product line is characterized by prominent oblique lines, which are jointly forming an elegant and harmonious overall appearance.

Our design for the mobility concept of Osnabrück has been honored with the iF Gold Award 2021. We succeeded again in winning the highest design label with one of our submissions. Thereby we are part of the 75 prizewinners, who have been awarded out of almost 10.000 submissions after three rounds of jury evaluation.

The design of the metal 3D printer INFINITY for O.R. Lasertechnologie is also awarded with the iF Design Award. Less than 10% of the submissions have received the popular label.

With the Safegate we have designed an interesting product, which brings hope for many business sectors. Hand disinfection, measuring of the body temperature, check of protective masks, as well as data control and access control are completed automatically and quickly. With safegate a trade fair visit, a big event or an appointment at the vaccination center are becoming a secure activity with DSGVO compliant data handling.

WMF launches the electric kettle KINEO VARIO. It impresses with a bold and modern esthetic, highest precision and well-thought-out functionality. The kettle is equipped with a touch control panel and a real-time temperature indicator.

Construction is progressing: in the Pioneer Park, the former premises of the U.S. Army in Hanau, new housing is being built for more than 2500 people.
Urban development includes an intelligent mobility concept and sustainable energy production. We have designed the facade of the energy central and all 15 mobility stations.

Intelligent and sustainable mobility in the residential area: For GP Joule Connect we have developed a compact mobility hub from which e-bikes and e-cargo bikes can be rented. The first hub stands in the Maximilians Quartier in Berlin.

We are very pleased that the Board computer, designed by us, has this year been awarded with the iF Design Award in the category product. The Board computer from krauth technology had already won the German Design award.

Even before the market launch, a product designed by us has been honored with the iF Design Award GOLD. Only 75 out of 7,298 submissions from 56 countries were awarded the golden iF label for outstanding design achievements by an international, independent and top-class expert jury. The first mobility stations of Osnabrück have been handed over to the users in Düstrup and Haste. After our win of the design competition in March 2017, and a little more than 2 years of development a sophisticated, multimodal mobility concept with an extensive catalog of modules has been implemented.
